How do I know if I have a pest problem?
All pests have different habits and their signs of activity and presence can be found listed on each pest page. Visit the 'Pests' tab on the menu at the top of this website to find out more.
Where are you based?
We are based in Coseley, Bilston, West Midlands and we cover all of the West Midlands and surrounding areas. If you are unsure if we cover your area, drop us a message with the first half of your postcode and we'll be sure to let you know.
How quick can I get an appointment in an emergency?
Most of our appointments can be offered within 24 hours of calling, this is obviously subject to availability and in peak times during the summer. We will always try to accomodate and be as flexible as we can with appointments.
How long does it take to get rid of rats or mice?
The treatment method we commonly use to eradicate rats or mice from most premises, assuming an average sized infestation and other common factors, can take on average 2 weeks to fully eradicate an infestation.
How many visits do you make for rats or mice?
For rats and mice infestations, we carry out a minimum of 3 visits and we do not charge per visit, we charge per job. If an infestation is proving somewhat more difficult or persistent, we may continue with an extra visit or two until we are fully satisfied that the rats or mice are eradicated and the job is complete.
Are the treatments you use dangerous to my children/pets?
We use professional grade poison baits, which can be dangerous if ingested. Our pest technicians however, always place bait down in the correct formulations, either in lockable boxes or out of site or reach of pets or children.
Any baits placed down should never be touched by anyone except the visiting technician and customers are ultimately responsible for keeping their children and pets safe at all times. Always inform us of any pets/children and discuss any concerns you may have and we would be happy to reassure you.
Do you charge VAT?
We are not a VAT registered company and we do not charge VAT, so cannot offer VAT receipts, nor do we charge any hidden costs different from what is quoted at the time of booking.
Do you offer pest proofing services?
If after the treatment of wasps, rats, mice or squirrels is completed, we may offer you DIY advice for cementing, foaming or wiring up holes to prevent further pests from gaining entry in the future. If this is a service you would like us to offer, please enquire further and we can quote you whilst we are on site.
Do I need to be present during treatment?
We always prefer an adult fully aware of the pest issue at hand to be present for the appointment to advise the technician of what they have seen, experienced, to pay the technician and to give permission for property access. For wasp nests or rats on the exterior of properties, we sometimes may not need anyone present. For fumigations that require evacuations, we advise that the property needs to be fully evacuated by adults, child, pets and especially aquatic animals. You will be advised of this upon booking.
What happens if I still see pests after treatment?
Most treatments are guaranteed. This means we guarantee to eradicate your existing infestation. Any infestations outside of the guarantee period are likely because of other factors. We will always advise you of the details of a guarantee upon booking.
